Daily picks games revolve around over/under totals: you predict whether the combined score of a game will finish above or below a posted number. The total, also called the over/under line, is set by sportsbooks to split public opinion, and reading why a line moves tells you where the market sees value.
A high total, such as 51 points, signals two strong offenses and weak defenses, favoring overs. A low total, like 40, points to a defensive battle.
